"The Signing of Eternal Fuck Yous at the Hall of Mirrors” is an augmented painting 

installation. It uses William Orpen’s painting “The Signing of Peace in the Hall of Mirrors”,

and superimposes a perverse image of human sins and inequities personified on top

of the painting. The treaty of Versailles, which the painting portrays, was a treaty that

put the end to world war one. The promise of the great peace was broken by endless

and perpetual conflicts between imperial powers; conflicts which continue to this day.

Rather than a mythic image of peacemakers and diplomats, I propose a grotesque

scene of human inadequacies and treacheries squabbling with each other.
